GPA and Credits-
To be eligible for participation in graduation ceremonies, students must have completed all course requirements and special education students must have met all IEP requirements.
The Board does not allow students to graduate early. A student must be enrolled in high school a minimum of eight (8) semesters during regular school terms to be considered a candidate for graduation.
Students who enroll from another state must meet the graduation requirements for the graduating class they enter and the state assessment requirements as referenced in State Board Rule 160-3-1-.07, Testing Programs - Student Assessment.

Importance of GPA-Grade Point Average starts and accumulates in the 9th grade. It is important for students to keep this GPA up as it will determine HOPE scholarship eligibility and college admission. Potential employers ask for GPA as well.
